The Two Companions - Uncle Vicienzo and Uncle Pascale
These are portraits in which the game comes to life:
Glances meet, cards are proudly displayed,
and the dialogue seems to continue beyond the sculpted material.
The two companions share time, wine, and friendship.
Height 35 cm, back-painted glass eyes
Dressed in accordance with the canons of 18th-century Neapolitan art.
This scenographic composition celebrates the value
of conviviality and popular tradition,
transforming an ordinary moment into a scene
capable of conveying warmth, memory, and humanity,
elements that constitute the most authentic soul
of the Neapolitan Nativity Scene.
